Property Owner Complete Guide

1How to Post a Job

Click "Post a Job"

From your dashboard, click the "Post a Job" button to start creating your project listing.

Describe Your Project

Provide a clear title and detailed description. Include the scope of work, materials needed, and any specific requirements. The more detail, the better bids you'll receive.

Add Photos

Upload photos of the area that needs work. This helps contractors understand the project and provide accurate bids.

Set Your Budget

Enter an estimated budget range. This helps attract contractors who can work within your price range.

Choose Payment Schedule

Select how you want to pay: Full payment, 50/50 split, or thirds (33%, 33%, 34%). Milestones will be created automatically.

2Review and Accept Bids

Once your job is posted, contractors will start submitting bids. Here's how to choose the right one:

What to Look For

  • - Verified badges (license, insurance)
  • - Positive reviews from past clients
  • - Clear, detailed bid description
  • - Reasonable price (not too low!)
  • - Good communication

Red Flags

  • - No verification badges
  • - Extremely low prices
  • - Vague or generic responses
  • - Requests for upfront payment outside the platform
  • - Poor or no reviews

Accepting a Bid

When you accept a bid, the job status changes to "Assigned" and milestones are automatically created based on your payment schedule. Other pending bids are automatically rejected.

3Approve Milestones

Milestones are checkpoints in your project where the contractor submits work for your approval before getting paid.

When Contractor Submits Work

You'll receive a notification when a contractor marks a milestone as complete. You have 48 hours to review and approve or dispute.

Approving a Milestone

If the work meets your expectations, click "Approve". The contractor will be paid immediately (minus the 10% platform fee).

Disputing a Milestone

If the work doesn't meet expectations, you can file a dispute. Provide evidence and a clear explanation. Our Platform Judge will review within 48 hours.

Auto-Release

If you don't respond within 48 hours, the milestone is automatically approved and payment is released to the contractor.
