When to File a Dispute
Property Owners Can Dispute When:

Contractors Can Dispute When:
- •Owner refuses to approve completed work
- •Scope changed significantly without agreement
- •Owner provides false dispute claims
- •Payment unfairly withheld
How to File a Dispute
Go to the Job or Milestone
Navigate to the specific job or milestone you want to dispute.
Click "File Dispute"
This button appears on milestones that are awaiting your review or have been submitted.
Describe the Issue
Explain clearly what went wrong. Be specific and factual - avoid emotional language.
Upload Evidence
Add photos, videos, messages, or documents that support your case.
Submit
Your dispute is now open. The other party will be notified and can respond.
What Makes Good Evidence?
Strong Evidence
- Before/after photos with timestamps

- Receipts for materials

Weak Evidence
- Vague complaints without specifics

The Resolution Process
Dispute Filed
One party files a dispute with evidence. Status: Open
Other Party Responds
The other party can submit their side with counter-evidence. Status: Under Review
Platform Judge Reviews
Our team reviews all evidence and makes a decision within 48 hours.
Ruling Issued
A decision is made on how funds should be distributed. Both parties have 72 hours to appeal.
Resolution Complete
Funds are distributed according to the ruling. Status: Resolved
